Banff and Lake Louise are in Alberta. Minimum wage per hour in Alberta is $5.95, but usually it is higher...it depends on what you're working and all that. Ski fields, to the best of my knowledge, sometimes provides accoms. But do double check.

Hope this helps!

Peace,
J!

the minimum wage in Qu├ębec, places like Mont Tremblant, is 7.30$, so you'd be making at least that if you want a job in a store or behind a counter (e.g. ice cream store, food court at the top of the mountain). If however, you want to work in a restaurant at the base of the hill, you will probably get 6.55$/hr plus tips. These are the jobs that are well worth the low base pay, because some places can get up to 300$ in tips, WEEKLY. As far as other jobs go, I'm not too sure.

Hope it helps!

Don't fret! Some restaurants hire hostesses for higher than minimum wage so that's another option. I got paid 10$/hour this summer as a seating hostess! Plus there are jobs in the hotels that hire for 8$/hour or higher. Receptionists usually get paid a lot more than minimum wage. So your options are way open! Good luck!
