I'm 29, female and single and too afraid to go alone

Hi Grainne,

I'm planning to be in China by late NOvember/early December.

What part do you intend travelling to?

Yes, me I plan to be in China for the Great Wall experience late October. But still not finalised my dates and how long I will be there. I also need to seek out cheap accommodation there! Have you found anything on the budget side of things?

Depends which part of China you plan to be, but it could get very cold during winter

Hello - I'm planning on a stop in Hong Kong when I embark on my RTW trip in October (see my profile for my early plan). Let me know if you want to know/discuss more! ;)

I just returned from a trip to Hong Kong and China. A single woman is fine on her own! My travel companion didn't show up until half way through the trip and i never felt in danger. all this media stuff makes you think it's terribly dangerous but it is one of the safer places in asia
