I hate the new sequels. I can't stand Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman...

Natalie Portman is the only reason for me to see new Star Wars film

In my opinion, the best Star Wars are the ones with Hayden Christenson. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a young, pretty face. I am proud that he's a Canadian, not an American (so Cupcake you don't need to worry)!

Have ya realised that there are only 2 new british actors this time?
Except for Liam Neeson as Qui gon and Brian Blessed in a little role as Boss Nass and of course Ewan the new cast are all made up of Americans (cept Janga)!

The OLD cast of british actors are:

CHEWBACCA, C3PO, R2D2, DARTH VADER, ALEC GUINESS, NEARLY ALL THE EMPIRE, MOST OF THE EWOKS, WEDGE (Ewan McGregors uncle), DARTH SIDIUS, YODA.

Admittedly just about all of these are actually back in the new ones as there old selfs. Not being nasty to the americans but it makes ya wonder why the old ones were better.

It's a certainty that the old (and original) ones were eons better And my British colleague would be very pleased if he read what you'd written above.

But not to get into this UK v US thingie... I thought Han Solo (aka Harrison Ford) was one of the best things to happen to Star Wars. And there isn't this magic in the new prequels anymore.

Some people I know have already seen Episode III (sneak previews), and they didn't like it.

Really?....please continue!

But yup, i'll agree Harrison is Star Wars, without that silly bugger star wars would have flopped.

Well, my colleague is English, and he's of the same opinion as you, that the Brits in Star Wars shone in the original trilogy. And the new prequels didn't really have any Brits - well, not as many - and they didn't really stand out. Ergo, the Brits made Star Wars look good (at least, he thinks so, lol).

And those who'd seen it didn't like it, said it was okay but nothing really spectacular, so it is best not to get the hopes up.

Also, have you read the review by The Guardian? They completely trashed it, and it really did seem as if the movie was so bad it wasn't even funny (although the review had me laughing).

LA Times also said it right:

the people we'd really like to see make a comeback are Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and, most of all, Harrison Ford. It is not to be, of course, but that only makes us miss them even more.

Sigh.

I've always liked Star Wars but was never a HUGE fan until Darth Vader turned cute and so damned HOT in the last movie! Can't wait to see the next Star Wars and drool over Hayden Christensen.

wake up and stop dreaming.
but you can drool over me anytime ;)

i was a really big fan when the films first came out but was disappointed with the new ones although i have bought all of them so far and i cant wait for the new one.

to me star wars just seemed fantastic when it was first made and although the new fight scenes and special effects are great it doesnt seem right.
maybe im getting to old

The new ones meant to be really dark, but the new ones are also cool if your an sfx fan and not a plot nut.

I liked ALL of them.

Episode III comes out here on Wednesday. It will be in the theatre, right here by my house, in less than 40 hrs. .

When will it be in the theatre where YOU live???

Star Wars..all that sci-fi stuff..yawns..
No boobs no tits and it's not funny..Okay, but i like the fighting scenes. Its violent enough alrite.. To see grown-ups fighting with giant lightsticks, that really scares the shit out of me.

But maybe, just maybe, i'll go to Limewire Theatre this weekend to check if it's out yet.
