When I click on "read more" in my travel maps I get a blank window.

I had a look at the read more link .. without more details, I assume this is the "read more" that shows when a little bit of location information is provided about a stop? That seemed to load up the relevant information pretty much as expected for me.

To help you more with this, you'll have to give a bit more information. Like, exactly where you saw the "read more" text and ideally even a screengrab of the resulting blank window.

I revisited my map view of my 2017 Asia Trip and everything is working as expected. I don't know if the problem was my computer or the internet was slow. You were correct in assuming that I was talking about the information that pops up when you click on a city in the trip. The problem is solved. I apologize for any inconvenience that I may have caused you and I appreciate your prompt response.

I see that CrazyOtto's issue is now cured but my trip https://secure.travellerspoint.com/member_map.cfm#/tripid/584156 still shows a blank pop-up page for any of the stops where there is a link for 'read more'

Hmm, ok, I see the problem now. At least in Chrome, they are now blocking any non-http content from being loaded into a https page like that. In the past, it would just give a warning icon next to the https which for that page wasn't too much of a concern to me.

I've switched the guide to load over https, so that one will work now.

The bigger problem is blog entries are also loaded in there and it's not currently possible to load those over https. Having this problem exists now means I'll need to add https support for the blogs. Stay tuned for a fix on that one.

Would it be easier to have a link to the guide instead of 'read more' causing a pop-up to open?

Well, it would solve that issue, but it means if you want to go back to the map, it will have to reload that page which is a bit of a drag. Might be an ok solution for the blog problem though (the guide problem should be fixed now)
