Eefs has indicated that this thread is about Spain

Can anyone recommend a nice (reasonable priced) hotel in San Sab with good amenities (pool/gym/breakfast included maybe)? Myself and m boyfriend are heading over on May 12th for three days....We have found many nice hotels advertised on the web but they all seem expensive. One site offered nearly quarter price rooms in 4star accommodation for last minute bookings but I'm not sure if we want to risk booking so late. Thanks for your help!

It's dificult to decide. ¿How much do you call too expensive? Why don't you give me the name of the hotel that ofers quater price? I don´t live near San Sebastian buy living in Spain perhaps I can help you if you give me some more information. Would you have a car in San Sebastian? In the litle villages near San Sebastian you can find better prices than in the city.
San Sebastian is one of the more expansive cities in Spain but one of the most nice too, and if you are a good gourmet, you will be very happy during your stay there.
Juan Oliver.

Hi Juan
Thanks for your reply! I have just found out that yes we are renting a small car so that we can see as many sights as possible in 5days! We are thinking of a budget for a double room in a nice hotel (preferably with gym or pool as we are planning on being very lazy!!) of about ?70-80 including breakfast. I think this is reasonable but as we dont know much about the areas we dont know which ones would be the nicest to stay in!

There are many hotels in San Sebastian. I would recomend you a hotel in the center area or Old Town. For a list of hotels try website.
