Quoting daveh

Hey Eve,

Been through the same dilemna. The shop only had the 60+10 litre one, so i'm just waiting for the 65+10 litre one to arrive in the shop. It was so comfortable to wear. Got them to put some weight in the pack for me so i could feel how it would be for real. It's a berghaus too.

I wouldn't suggest Berghaus, cheap and unreliable. I would either go for a Macpac Ascent XPD Classic or a ARC'TERYX expedition rucksack BORA 75.

Samsara, sorry to kind of hi-jack your thread a little, but I didn't see the point in creating a new thread to ask the same sort of things. Hope you don't mind?!?!?

My brothers are on their way! You fiend!!

Don't be daft

hey Eve-I bought a Berhaus ladies backpack that has a frame put into it-if that makes sense!

I think it's a 60l.

I thought that when i walked into the shop about the bloke trying to just sell it-but he said he'd wanna come to Oz with me just to keep an eye on the back pack!!

I was with a colleague and she was saying that Berghaus are good!

Personally for me it's a great fit-seeing as i'm only petite and it had lots of padding, the frame allows air to circulate etc. I was very supprised to walk out with one-i'm soooo fussy and didnt have a clue about backpacks!

Good luck Eve

They are cheap though, 100 pound for a rucksack please!

I currently use a ARC'TERYX expedition rucksack BORA 95 http://www.rei.com/product/47792977.htm cost me about £230 and i have never looked back but i think you would only need a 75 w

Come on guys-who cares about money, sometimes you pay for what you get, £100 isnt exactly cheap as in you would expect it to last for a couple of months kind of cheap!

Different people are different in that respect, sometimes it pays off to pay more and other times...who's the mug! eh!

I've been having a big problem deciding which backpack.

I was homing in on either a 'Deuter Aircontact 55+10' or a Macpac..I don't wnat much over 60 even though I'll be on the road for 9 months...
Has anyone found a good pack thats front loading too(with a C-shaped zip)? Money no object...

All of you are wrong!

The TP backpack (see top left logo) looks nice and comfy.
Peter, Sam, where to get one?
Does it come free when one reaches the Travel Guru level?
And I want the hat too!!!

Who's the model anyway? Peter or Sam?
