Ok, so this is not the most exciting subject but from experience I know how important it is to find a good insurance policy.

Me and my boyfrind are leaving in 8 weeks (yay) on our rtw trip and we are going to Canada, USA, Fiji, New Zealnd, Australia, Thailand and Hong Kong and despite being organised in all other respects, it is just our insurance I am worrying about and have yet to purchase!!

I have been quoted £379 by STA (a little more expensive as we are travelling to the US) and obviously that is a fully comprehensive package and covers us for acitivities and sports. Does anyone know of a cheaper one or another company I could use? I have checked out the company through this site and it is certainly a lot cheaper but I am afraid of using an online one. Has anyone used an online one and was it easy to make a claim this way? I am also aware that STA design their policies specially for backpackers, will all these others have all the same things included? It is really just the activities I am worried about as we obviously want to go diving etc and I don't want to find out later that we are not covered!!

Obviously would be nice to save some cash in this way so any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you
Rach
