I heard and read that in Russia, within 7 days after arrival, you have to register your visa at your hotel. Often i read that you only have to do this once after arrival. And then its done. But other sources, such as Lonely Planet, say that you have to register your visa in every town that you will visit on your trip. I am confused. What is the right information?

This is done every time you check in to your hotel.

Ger, you've already asked a lot of questions about travel in Russia, including asking the same questions of me in private messages. Time to just go and have a good time.

Travel in Russia need not be complicated, unless you want it to be.

Ok, you are right :)
Thanks for all the support, it has been very helpful! It is indeed today time go go! I will have my plane at 23.45. I am looking forward to see Russia!

Cheers,

Ger
