Do you have a picture of it that you could post in your gallery?
(I would love to see it!)

Will try and put a picture in my gallery as soon I got a proper one, and you continue fighting for the metric system ;)!

I didn't get my tat while traveling, but it was my birthday gift to myself when I turned 26. Now, (almost) 26 years later - I still don't regret the decision. I would actually like to add to it at some point. (Did tequila shots w/beer chasers before getting the first one, but they don't let you do that anymore - here in the States. Kinda takes the fun out of playing the drunken pirate at the tattoo parlor.) Just be sure that the tat parlor you choose is reputable - whether at home or away. I have seen some rather nasty tat infections in my time so check them out before you let them color you.

I got really drunk and went over to this guy in the street in Langmusi, china and asked for a tatoo. Luckily some people i was travelling with grabbed me away!
This guy was using a hammer and needle dipped in ink......from somewhere.

Gonna get one though after summer, i'll take a photo of it all the tatooists i've told about it say it's a great design and they've never seen it done ;)

I've hust had tattoos redone & covered in China. Cost was between one third - one half the cost of Thailand

I just got one about three weeks ago in Yangshou, just bumbed into these guys in the tatoo shop and got chatting. I wanted another tatoo for a while and have been putting it off for ages. It was spare of the moment and I talked to them about the writing that I wanted to have and they drawn it up. Next thing I know...I was under the needle. I am still loving my new tatoo (you would hope so), and I think it will always bring back the good memories that I had in Yangshou and my new found tatooist friends.
