just wondering what to exactly pack for my trip. i am going to have to buy clothes and shoes especailly and think it is alot cheaper to just leave it till i actually arrive in Bangkok and then just get what i need/what then.
is this a better way of doing it ?
i thought so, but cheers for that
does that apply to digital cameras and will the instructions be in english?
ebay/second hand/hot property and having more time here to shop around - it's difficult to find a good deal in a country you are not familiar with.
Yes, clothes in Thailand in a lot cheaper and you can find many style also. The place that have a lot of cheap clothes is Pra Tu Num, Bangkok.
Hey dude Bangkok?s a heaven for shopping....tats if u don?t mind counterfeit stuff.
Don't shop in bangkok. wait until you travel to other places in Thailand. It's like saying London is the cheapest place to shop in the uk because that's got the most shops and the most tourists. Fake designer gear is all over Thailand, but they will charge you a bit more in bangkok because you are a newly arrived tourist and haven't had a chance to see how cheap the rest of Thailand is. bangkok is the most expensive place in Thailand for EVERYTHING.
You could virtually go with an empty bag to Thailand. In fact, you can even buy cheap bags there as well
bring a local thai friend during the shopping..

yep pratunam..green city complex, baiyoke tower...cheap some are good qualities...worth the $$
