Sorry, CC - that French sounds weird, too....

For the record (and please make sure it's only spoken - I stick the accents in the wrong place a lot):

Ceci est un message de sécurité. Veuillez s'il-vous plait surveillez vos baggage en tout temps. Toute pièce de bagage sans surveillance serra retirer.

Where have you been all my life?

Prison, mostly.

Actually, a proper Cockney Rhyming slang version would be fantastic. And a proper Naaaaarrrrch/Somerset version would be great, providing it's different enough and i can come up with an accent to use!

Gelli,
ive just took a quick look at your profile and had to laugh after seeing you didnt like aylesbury.Any reason why?
Thats where my travel mate is from and ive been there to see him twice.Mind you he is selling his house so we can all go away for a few years.

I would put the norfolk translation up but as the norfolk saying goes.
I CANT READ AN I CANT WRITE BUT I CAN DRIVE A TRACTOR

Malay

Ini adalah pesanan keselamatan.
Sila jaga harta kepunyaan anda pada setiap masa.
Sebarang harta yang dijumpai tidak diawasi akan dialihkan.

Phonetics

It IS already in phonetic form. Romanised Malay are phonetics.
Anyway, the vowels in Malay are pronounced this way:

a = as in "ah", not "ay"
e = as in "err", and also "eh" (rare, and not used above, so don't worry)
i = as in "in"
o = as in "orange"
u = as in "oo"

Wau... sambadi hitting wan thausend posts olredi. (get the drift?)

Hien,
Sebarang harta yang dijumpai tidak diawasi akan dialihkan.

Too many 'stress' on this negative statement.

Sebarang harta yang dijumpai tanpa pengawasan akan dialihkan.

Regards,
Lee

Thanks for improving it, Lee. :)

I've not been writing much Malay (or at all!) for the past 6 years.
Posting one at about 1.30am certainly didn't help either.

Icelandic: "Þetta eru öryggisskilaboð. Lítið alltaf eftir farangri ykkar. Allur óaðgættur farangur verður fjarlægður"

Phonetic: thetta eru uhriggisskilaboth. Leetith alltaf eftir faraungri ikkar. Allur o-ath-g-i-ttur faraungur verthur fjarlaegthur.

Reece - Now your beginning to scare me...

As for Aylesbury, i just don't. Probably working for an evil g1t of a boss, and having to walk half hour each way through a building site/dodgy housing estate to/from work, plus the fact that because of the rules, i could never leave until 6.25, but didn't get paid for the extra hour didn't help, but it's just somewhere that instantly makes me want to fly...

Btw, thanks all for your help. No more are needed as it's done. It all went brilliantly and i didnt make too much of an arse of myself. Well, not much. Great fun, although was begining to flag by the time I crawled home at about 5.20am yesterday, after about a 17hour session
