And it's good against warts too turns out in this study 'The efficacy of duct tape vs cryotherapy in the treatment of verruca vulgaris (the common wart)':

Conclusion: Duct tape occlusion therapy was significantly more effective than cryotherapy for treatment of the common wart.

It has come to my attention that fishing line and duct tape coincide! Because duct tape is so useful, and fishing line is clearly the strongest string on the face of the earth, they would both be well used. But- yikes! - what if I'm suddenly changing the topic?!

Here in Canada they use electrical tape to tape down cords at concerts, and I've never heard of gaffer tape . .. . . But I deffinately know that duct tape is not the same thing at all as electrical tape.

I'm starting to feel sticky!

(Too much talk about tape)

Take care,

i read through the post and didn't see this..

Ttake a piece of newspaper and scrunch it up into a ball then run the tape over it and over it to make a great hard sports ball. IE: baseball, hockey puck, cricket ball, just something for two people to throw when the frisbi has landed on a roof...

Now that it has been mentioned by sanquar ;) I remembered a time in my pre-teens when I was at a summer camp. We made 'homemade ice cream' for the fun of it by playing "kickball" a.k.a. football a.k.a. North American soccer with an old Edwards can (and the proper ingredients, of course) and a tonne of none-other-than-you-guessed-it- duct tape to keep it from bursting open and feeding the weeds instead of our hungry bellies ! (We slept in real tee-pees for a night! ) ....

bluewaav, one name comes to mind for you "Macgyver."
By the sound of that, adding a few paper clips and an egg carton to the duct tape, you could acheive world dominance he he he he..

Great idea for the ice cream!

Duct Tape is the only way to fix a cracked fiberglass canoe when in the wilderness. A tampon works great to dry up ALL moisture around the gash, and several layers of duct tape will kep water out of your canoe until the end of the trip

Bangkok - Chiang Mai, duct tape came in handy on this coach trip because our air con unit leaked water. The duct tape contained the water for a good few hours before it burst through!
