Hi all,

not being the most up to date person when it comes to computers, I was wondering if it is easy to use your digital camera which has a web cam with it aswell in internet cafe's. I think most of them have to have software downloaded on to the computer and I cant see that they will let you do this in an internet cafe.

Does anyone have an idea as I think my mother will have a fit if I cant wave to her and prove I havent been eaten by a shark, whilst in oz. !!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Caz :(

Most internet cafes will have at least a few computers with webcams set up already, so you should be okay on that account. (You might have to plan to be there at quieter times though, in case all of those computers will be busy...)
They indeed won't let you install software, or even plug in the camera itself, but will have universal cardreaders to get pictures off the memorycards that come with the camera, so that you can then burn those to cd or email or upload them. And of course the people working in the internet cafes will be able to explain how to do any of these things to you if you can't figure it out.
