;)Hi, I am a Taiwanese girl planning to travel to Central America countries such as Mexico and Cuba. Now I just start my research and I would like to find out more about appropriate time/routes/safety and security concerns to travel through CA countries. Roughly I would have 3 weeks only. It is a bit limited. I am intersted in culture, history and find out more the life of the local people.

Look forward to hear from you....cheers....

Hi
I recently travelled through Mex and all Central America countries by bus and by myself,it was great, all countries have their own special interesting places. I met lots of single girl travellers but they usually ended up travelling with others.
In 3 weeks you could see a lot but "you" have to decide where you want to fly into and out of? one of which must be Panama City just to see the canal!!!
In 3 weeks if you started Guatemala City-Antigua then Copan Ruins in Honduras all by bus it would be a start but you would have to catch an airflight at some stage to get to Panama City in 3 weeks. Thats if you want to spend time siteseeing in the country,I'am just a citybum so once I had seen any sites in the towns or cities I just jumped another bus.
I would suggest buying Lonely Planet Central America and having a read which would give you all the information you require and then make "your plans".
Have a good trip, all the best on your travels.

(Seems like it is not a safe place to travel alone by myself...:()
