Has anyone travel on Ryanair? I recently looked through their internet site and saw some very, very cheap airfair ( 0.57pound?). How is the ride, safety, ect. ? Are there any other European airlines sell ticket as cheap or nearly as cheap as Ryaniar ?

Ryanair are a perfectly fine airline, i never have travelled with them myself, but my friend has travelled with them many times, from Ireland to England, actually just booked a flight tonight over the net. It's a bitch when your bookin and it says its like 12 quid each way, so you thinkin its only 24 quid or whatever it is, then the airport adds about 50% to the price! , lol, but, its still cheap, safe, and reliable as any.

I travelled with Ryan Air before, and never had any problems. It's cheap, safe but ofcourse you don't have to expect the same service on board as with other (more expenisce) companies.
Virgin Express can be very cheap as well...

There are loads and loads of budget airlines in Europe now. Some countries are more advanced (especially the UK) than others, but - for example - 28 seperate low cost carries now serve Italian airports, and many of them serve more than 1 destination. Ryanair are the biggest, but can be misleading with their airport names (i.e. saying Brussells-Charleroi) and can leave you with a fairly long trek from an obscre or poorly served by public transport airport to the main place of interest advertised.

Although in no way complete, the following overall places are worth keeping an eye on amongst otehrs:

whilst for flights to/from the UK, the Guardian newspaper tends to be a good place to check:

They also scoure the sites and everyday put up 5 or so great bargins to be had

Thanks, you guys for the low cost air in Europe. I will surely check in to this when coming to Europe from the US.

I have flown with Ryanair a few times (tax cost more than the fare) I found them very efficient and comfortable.
They fly to Killarney. Co. Kerry, Ireland

The Gaeltacht Regions of Ireland where Irish language is still spoken offer the most wonderful holidays for those trying to 'get away from it all'
Rugged scenery, unspoilt beauty coupled with high quality accommodation and good food and mild weather can make a very relaxing break.

These are very popular destinations for people who enjoy the outdoors: hillwalking, fishing, pony trekking or just sight-seeing are regular pursuits here. Also, those interested in history, folklore, language and traditional music should visit
