getting back to mobile phones briefly :p, I have a work mobile phone that still works 2 months after I left the firm, I'm sorely tempted to take it because it is a blackberry device, which means I get my personal email delivered straight to the phone. Would save me using internet cafes! Wouldnt use the phone other than to receive calls but lets be honest, I am being DIShonest by considering taking the phone and if my company sees high foreign charges they might notice, where as a small GPRS charge may go by quietly.

Conversely I know the guy in charge of mobiles and am wondering weather to grease his wheels with some hard currency to let it go, but the risk is that he just says no and I get nothing!

what a quandry!
