Well, we don't bleed for days on end without dying ;)

(im sure my mate told me this as a joke the other month )

i tell women all my problems and they tell the whole town so the problems sorted.
No seriously ive got 2 female mates who know more about me than i do and i tell them everything and i mean everything

I'm the same Reece, I have a female friend I talk to, theres one guy I can talk to who is much older than myself, sort of like a mentor type figure I guess, but not actually. However I feel most comfortable with the girl.

As sad as it may sound, if I really needed help, I'd talk to my mum, but it would be something I was desperate on. She's also a nurse, so has seen many things and isnt embarrassed easily. Thankfully I've never had to use that trust for anything "awkward" :)

I can talk to my buddies about bowel movements and all manner of sick things, but nothing really meaningful

susan judging by your profile are you not abit young at 5 years old to be playing with the big boys and girls or are you yet another wind up merchant intent on causing trouble.
abit of advice when you join somewhere like here or anywhere else for that matter.'Dont get peoples backs up on the 1st visit eh'

Please let's let this rest from here. I consider this matter dealt with and would prefer the thread didn't get back into taking pot shots at one another. Sue has already shown restraint in not responding to the last couple of comments directed at her and I'd appreciate it if everyone else would follow suit and just let this sleeping dog rest.

Ok, enough from me.. back to the girls..

Oh Peter you have your work cut out eh!

Going back to having a mate of the opposite sex to confide in...i was seeing one bloke and he actually said something to me that made me run a mile- "i know you dont know me but you can tell me anything you know..." --->now this is the sort of thing that i would say- and no-one is like me, i really think he meant it you know-that freaked me out!

I told him a few things-well not majorly personal and he responded very well-brill bloke!

Like Martin i have a few older mates who i confide in and my mum-were like great mates, but yeh there are things that i'd rather tell my mates. Blokes can be great to confide in and you know that they wont share it with every bill and bob about the town, where-as women tell everyone-well most seem to!

Thanks isa-the pill it is then when i'm away-providing he'll give it to me!
