Hi Bernadette,

I am pretty sure the local public library has many books on the locations you want to travel too. Go to Yahoo search and type in Dubai travel, it will give you plenty of sites to research. You can try the address above from lonelyplanet (one of the most popular travel info. companies) for a start. Good luck!

I think lonelyplanet will definitely provide you with a lot of the info you need and want. Another website that will help you out is www.virtualtourist.com. There are tips posted there by members of the website, ranging from accomodations to "off the beaten path" (i.e. the non-traditional sights to see), for the entire world. Underneath the member suggestions you will find links to their own websites, so that could give you some insight as well.

travel.discovery.com is a good tool as well with interesting articles. Let me know how you do!
