In Washington (near Seattle) is the Boeing 747 "museum"- for lack of a better term. You can see a 15 min. movie ffwding how a plane is put together and tour the plant, etc. It's pretty interesting.

I'm in Florida, you can check out some of my travels at www.Roadtripdivas.com

Orlando--are you going to the theme parks? Universal Studios is great. If you like Dr. Suess Universal's Islands of Adventure is a must see.

The original Universal has an awesome Back to the Future ride.

If you go to Orlando the theme parks charge you for parking. Ask your hotel when you make reservations if tehy offer a free shuttle. NOt only will it be a free ride, but they generally give out discount coupons on the buss.

Also see if you can get a hotel on "the strip." There are a BUNCH of shops and restaurants all right there. I forget what road it is.

If you can travel around Florida and so forth--St. Augustine has neat ghost tours and is a great history place.

Waycross Georgia you can go to Okeefenokee Swamp and canoe with alligators--very fun.

Oh! If you come during the summer you have to go to SHLITERBAHN in San Marcos Texas--the biggest water park you have ever seen!

Now that you started listing attractions-
Knotts Berry Farm in Cali is fun- great roller coasters and other fun stuff. Lots of people by-pass it for Disney, but I think its better.
If you have kids, go to Disneyland in Anaheim (near LA).
If you go to the original Universal Studios (I think its in San Diego?), do the tram ride as well.
Also in San Diego is Sea World, which is pretty memorable.

All these things are pretty touristy, but you gotta do them once in your life, I think. Anyway, you seem to have plenty on your list that will give you a break from the crowds.

Don't forget to head to the beach!

Have a great trip!
