you will love NZ, bear in mind it took me 2 weeks to do the north island (at a push) that's like getting up each morning and travelling to the next town. I never made it to the South Island - but its bigger and better apparently so you may want to consider spending up to 3 weeks there. March sounds ok - will be getting into their autumn or winter i think though no sure. I went in August and its was rainy but fairly warm... didn't spoil anything though - i had a great time there! Let me know if you want some info on what to do on the North Island.

Hey there,

You will love NZ, there is no doubt about that! Well I did it the other way round, I went to the South first..and I never made it to the North. But I spent 3 months in the south.
I went there from Jan to April, and March is a good time to go...

Well if you want any tips or anything , let me know

Have fun!

NZ is an awesome country, it is so easy to get around and there is heaps to see and do - you'll love it. March will be getting a touch cooler but it should still be pretty nice - it depends which part of the country you are in. Both islands are great and each deserves as much time as you can spare to explore.
Have a great time.
