Hi, Im just wondering are you planning to work at all? Ive budgeted for 1000 euro a month while Im away but I was hoping not to have to work

Please no working when travelling. That's one of the reasons why I like to travel.........NO working means no stress, no rules, just relax!!!

In Asia (except Japan, Taiwan and some parts of China) 500 Euro is enough. For 1000 euro you have more comfort, you can stay in midrange hotels and eat in the better restaurants

Hey Badcatch,

wanted to know what did you use in Lonely Planet to help you plan those budget numbers. I am working on a 7 month intinerary and trying to budget how much it will cost me for each city.
All your help is great.
Thanks

Why that detailled? In Asia you should count on 500 Euro (750 Can$)per month. In some places you will spend a little more and in other a little less. But generally this will do........

Thanks guys !!

Everyone who said I could get by cheaper, i'm very heartened !!!

jooksing for my estimates I looked at lonely planet and www.solotravel.org and added a little extra to the budget figure, cause I like to have a few beer and not stay in a absolute hole if I can help it !
