Quoting samsara2

Does this prove that astrology is just a load of *&^%$$ or am I trapped in the wrong body?

No, I think it proves that it takes a lot more to get an accurate picture from astrology and even then, it's not the stars and constellations only. There's your upbringing, your experiences in life and everything else that has to be taken into account.

Or maybe you're trapped in the wrong body!!! EEEEEEKKKKK... Bodysnatchers!!!!!! RUN!!!!!

60% cancer, proves my point, I think. I know that I am heavily influenced by Leo (I have quite a few characteristics of the Leo) and the combination is quite hard to handle at times.

But hey, I am what I am, so I stop worrying and love the bomb....

But since the original question was how do you see yourself, here's a part of the answer. (some of you might remember these lines...)

Theatre of cruelty

I held you in my hand
and I pulled your legs out
One by one
And I smiled
And you died

I stood there watching while the world crumbled
And I knew my work was done

Cold blood flowing in my veins
It’s strangling my heart
And leaves me to die
Petrified

On the day the dead rise again
and the toe nailed vessel appears
We know all is possible and all is futile
Until we start again

There is a dead man staring at me from own eyes
Where did he come from?
What does he want?
He doesn’t say

The dead are running around dancing gaily in the moonlight
Who summoned these creatures of the past?
Who called forth the ones that are gone?
It is me alone.

I cling on to my fantasies because life is too hard to take
The rain is soaking me inside and the blanket of shame
is always damp
Why do I run towards a goal that’s in my back?

In self absorbed silence I brood,
My brother died in a brothel
I am all alone
I struggle onwards without a goal,
Where does it lead me?
Where do I go?

Words are flowing out of me
I am scared
Where does this path lead me
Where is the end?
He who is the only justice
Waits for me
He smiles
He’s a patient man
He’s got all the time
Of the world

Dead kitten litter my garden
The roses are dead
The dogs ceased barking
Now they howl
The sheep are silent

Fear holds me in his fetal grip
Movement is dead
Who would have thought
it happens so easily
Who would have thought
The train departs

The dead are truly dead
And they will never rest
Peace is not today and
Death is not tomorrow
Who will know what
Yesterday will bring?

And, this is how I see me (though, a few years older)...

48

It will be my birthday in just a few hours…
Maybe it’s closer to seven hours,
twenty-two minutes,
and some odd number of seconds…
But in considering the big picture,
who’s really counting.
My guess - the years.
They have been ticking off days
like clockwork…
And though turning forty eight
- unlike thirty or forty or fifty -
is not a monumental mile stone,
it has given rise to
a new conviction:
Middle age exists only in the minds of others.
So, as three hundred sixty-five and one quarter
times forty-seven
are about to say good bye to me,
I’ll smile when I wave them adieu.

Cake, anyone??

Happy Birthday!
Well, it's certainly a day for birthday talk... ;)

And, my goodness, am I ever a Taurus. Stubborn, you say? Determined?

Save that thought until August... Then it will be my birthday!
But, it is how I see myself...

Ah, I see... Oh, well. Call me early!

Age is most definitely in the mind of the beholder. It's funny - 32 doesn't scare me, but my friends talk like they're over the hill and that's when I can see those fine, little wrinkles in the corners of my eyes. I never saw them before. Really. I think that's why I LIKE being in my 30s but run kicking and screaming from the notion that growing up means growing old. It means growing wiser! More comfortable! More self assured! But sometimes you hear enough "I'm so tired, I'm getting old, I'm this, I'm that" in a day that you come home and start to see what other people are talking about.

Then I realize I'm not tied down to other people's notions and I have a martini and plan my next trip. Yippee!

Gemini (born May 21-June 21) is the third sign of the Zodiac. The twins represent a mix of the yin and the yang. Imaginative and energetic, yet logical and calculated. Gemini's are skilled at diplomacy and have an incredible ability to see both sides of every issue. They are easily persuaded by others and are sometimes accused of being wishy-washy. They are the life of the party as they love to chatter away with anyone who wants to engage in an intelligent conversation. Geminis are not only gifted talkers, they are always gifted listeners and love to ask questions with genuine interest. Their combination of energy, intelligence and imagination make them great at multi-tasking.

This is probably 90% true. I will take the quiz later . Most people perceive me as: too hard on myself, focused to a fault (obsesive behaviour maybe), too giving...hence, some people take advantage, the life of the party...depending on my mood, and as expected...the typical moody Gemini (two personalities).

I perceive me as: EXTREMELY LOYAL to my family and friends, 100% focused on my goals and desires (dont think is a fault really), very compassionate towards those in need (sucker?), adventurous, loving (when I want to be), and dedicated to my responsibilities (I've tried to walk away...I just cant!).
