I will be in England for a week at the beginning of March, but only have Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon to go somewhere else. I'm tempted by the Ryanair and Easyjet fares to travel (I've not been outside North America before), and wonder what you would choose. Like everyone else, I'm on a limited budget So, would you stay in England, or go somewhere else? If you could throw in advice on hostels/cheap accomodation too, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks, and ciao!
I live in Reading, just outside London. I presume you are flying in to London for your stay in England.
I think a week is a short time to visit England especially if you are thinking of visiting other European destinations as well.
There's so much to do in London you can get to places like Stratford and Windsor by car or coach or train. If you want to visit places like Manchester and Liverpool as well there are even more things to fill your time. It might be cheaper to fly to Manchester and Liverpool as train fares are incredibly expensive and trains tend to be unreliable.
I hope this has been useful. Let me know if you want any further information.
Thanks, Nicola. I'm leaning towards staying in London as well (although sunny summery Italy is sounding good because it's -27C here today!). I appreciate your advice!
