My question to you:

Is the greenhouse effect a real problem caused by us human beings? Or is it just a tropical era that's coming up?

whichever way - it's still a real problem

Wouterrr, you and the rest of us know the answer.

Its a problem and humans are massive contributors both to the greenhouse effect (CFCs etc) and to many other environmental problems!

Flying is awful for the planet

now thers a contoversial statement on this website!

If it is another tropical era, its not a real problem.....Why. We MAKE it a problem. It is just natural proces like the tropical en Ice periods thousands of years ago. Volcano eruptions cause massive problems when it comes to the greenhouse effect. All the sootparts blown into the atmosphere stays there very long and heat is not able to escape (greenhouse effect). That causes maybe much more problems then all the emissions of factories and cars in the world together.

I think that we first have to start with a prohibition on volcano eruptions and then tackle the countries which offer these volcanos a safe home.

we hadn't got a major volcano eruption within the last 100 years.

So why ice caps melt and El Ninjo occures?

You mean eruptions in UK?.... no that's true you are right. But please look at this site:

http://volcano.und.nodak.edu/vwdocs/current_volcs/current.html

And look to the amount of ash blowing into the air, one eruption in the entire world affects the entire world.
I am trying to see this problem from different views.
