I tried that open in taps feature. That awesome, I had my 10 favorite web pages that I usually check out each morning all open and load at once and then just check them out by clicking the taps.
Any other useful features I should use (that probably weren't available with IE)? Or Firefox tips?
One feature I like is the ability to zoom in on text (is possible in Mac IE, but not on the PC). On a Mac, you hit command + or command - to zoom in.. Might be Ctrl + on the PC Not sure, but very handy for the occassional website that has made their default font size too small!
Another nice thing is the ability to drag any word into the google search bar (or address bar). If you drag a url (that isn't clickable) onto the address bar, it will take you to that url (or you can drag it next to a tab and it will open a new tab with that url). If you drag a word into the address bar, it will do a google search for that word and jump to the first result ('I'm feeling Lucky' style). So, dragging a company name into the address bar, usually jumps straight to their website!! You can also just type a word in the address bar and it will do the same thing. Very nice indeed.
If you're interested in installing extensions (I suggest you just get used to it for now), you need to click on the 'Tools' menu and select extensions - follow the prompts from there.. there's some really cool things out there.
That's all I can think of right now..
p.s they're tabs, not taps
