All sounds Great! Not too usre about Cleveland or Detroit though. Maybe you either know someone there or your just passing through.

Lots of those cities are really cool, fun, interesting places!

When you're out in the SouthWest try and get to some more of the National Parks besides just the Grand Canyon. Places like the Arches National Park & Bryce Canyon (both in Utah). Mesa Verde (Colorado). Sequoia (California). Had you considered any of them?

About when will you be passing through Philadelphia?

cleveland and detroit are just passing through places.and whats so bad about them as ive never been and wouldnt know?
we are looking for recommendations as well mate so i will put the places down on my list and check them out nearer the time.
as for philadelphia i would say roughly around the end of july/early august.

What places are you hitting in Canada? You're coming at the best time - it's finally starting to get warm over here. Hot, even! Thank God - it was starting to look like 12 months of winter.

Anyhow - congrats and enjoy! It was a long time coming, but sometimes that makes us appreciate it even more. (My appologies for sounding like someone's mother.)

Let us know when you'll end up in Montreal! Late June, early July have some fabulous festivals - if you can make it for the Jazz Fest in particular, you won't regret it. Quebec City's also great in the summer, since it's warm and windy and you won't end up feeling like a wilting fern.

Hi Tway,

I could get up to Montreal in around 8 hrs. I've thought about the Jazz festival, as I really like Jazz. But do you have to pay to see each convert? Or is there FREE music going on in the parks or anything like that?

Is it hard to get a hotel during the jazz festival?

Other Montreal people who know about this, also feel free to answer.

Hey Reece,

How are you guys getting around the USA? Gonna reant a car for a few months?

Detroit & Cleveland are basically just cities with not much of interest there (and they're not particulary nice cities). Nothing bad just definitely nothing special to check out on vacation.

So is you'll be driving, we can recommend points in between the cities you listed?

How long are you thinking of staying in Philadelphia?

OR are just so happy to finally be going, that you haven't giving much thought to such details?
