Answer to Travel 100: We needed 50,000 frequent flyer miles for a free trip to anywhere in Europe from the US, with a stopover if we wish. We'll stop in Copenhagen for 5 days (we have not been there yet and hope we can find budget accomodations). But it was not easy to find the flights, as they do not have many seats for the frequent flyer miles, and we'll have to use the partner airlines and go through Prague.
You certainly are getting your "miles worth" . Can't go too much fruther away and still be in Europe. Are you allowed to stop in Prague on the way home? If so, and you have time, it's a great city. Especially in Sept. when the weather is still good but a lot of the tourists are gone.
Answer to Travel 100: No we are not allowed to stop in Prague because we are stopping in Copenhagen on the way to Russia and are only allowed 1 stop. Hope to do Prague some other time. Now I need to research Copenhagen.
Hi! I have heard of the company dealing with short-term accommodation in the centre of Petersburg for affordable prices. Thei promise to provide me with good flat or mini-hotel room, visa support and a guided tour - everything I might need, but it too good to be true - one company solving all the problems I may face in organising my trip!!! If anybody heard of them or have any advice, I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks. -snip-
