I dont know if I would call it a solution but the best transition one can make into another culture (as I have here) is to be accepting and open minded about every single situation that may come your way (whether you like it or not). I would try to avoid phrases like..."well, in my country..."
The symptoms include extreme homesickness, feeling very angry over small discomforts, headaches, feeling sick much of the time, and so on.
Most people travel because they want to experience a different way of life. It is very much a learning experience. Learning more about ourselves and the world. Growing in understanding and knowledge sometimes can be difficult and painful. Not all new challenges are easy to accept or deal with.
