Miss you too Dave. I wish I was getting drunk in a bar with some nice Aussies

Well, when you make it out here I look forward to catching up!

I would say Malaysia Dave - hands down. Theres a LOT you could see in Malaysia in 9 days. KL for a day or so. Fly out to Borneo maybe? It looks amazing out there. Check out the oranutangs? Pull faces at them. That's what I'd do, I think.

James, looking forward to it MATE!

Mahmud has been recommending Dhaka in Bangladesh lately. Only $US300 Bangkok - Dhaka - Bangkok

It's unlikely that many of your mates have been there

Yeah, my mates are a very well travelled bunch, and have been to just about any country with a port (navy boys), but i'm sure Bangladesh would be a real scoop for me as i can't recall any Bangladesh stories during our drunken nights out, but i don't have time to arrange a visa really, so somewhere with a visa on arrival is all that i'm considering this time round.

How about Loas or Cambodia??? (you've never seen Angkor Wat), they're visa on arrival.

Many people consider Laos to be the highlight of their Indo-China circuit. Veng Vieng can be a very chilled party place. Inexpensive as well. There's the kaarst outcrops, and tubing on the river with Beer Lao in hand. There could also be other distractions ... if that's your cup of tea and you know what I mean
