Hi Naci!

Well, the first thing to keep in mind is that this is going to be expensive... motorhomes are not that common as rental vehicles here as opposed to for example in the States or in Australia! I actually asked around with some of my colleagues and no one would even know where to start looking... so it looks like it has to be more of a tourist type service than anything a local would know.

Here are some sites I found that are pretty useful (with rentals in/around Oslo) :

Campertour Norway (this site could improve a thing or two on the usability aspect of their site )
Motorhomes worldwide

Hi Sam,

Thanks very much !
Yes i saw the prices... very very expensive, if I had more time, the best place to rent an RV would be Hamburg...
Say we just take a plain to Oslo, rent a car and just travel, think
should be problematic finding B&B along the way? remember we have a boy 8 years old.

I think you would be relatively ok, but the places might not always be called bed & breakfasts.... there are a lot of smaller places around in the smaller towns where people can put up a few guests. On the main roads, you should certainly not have a problem. There's actually some very good tourist information centers in Oslo that offer free advice if that's where you are starting out.

There's also a service where you can stay in 'hytte' (cabins would be the best description of these) nearly for free. I have no idea how this exactly works though. I'll see if I can find out and let you know, but otherwise check with the main tourist information centers. Also, the Visit Norway site might help!

There's also small hotels in most cities and the distances between these aren't too bad!

Hope that helps!!!
