Finally everything's booked and I'm off to the Philippines in about 10 days. Will be staying the first 6 nights at a resort close to Puerto Galera (after that a 7-day cruise ).
Does anyone have any good ideas of what to do apart from lazing in the sun of course? I've heard that there should be quite some good walks just behind the beach (Coco Beach), can anyone confirm that?
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
You lucky girl! And the only place I am headed is back up to Scandinavia Sorry can't help you out more. Never made it to the Phillipines....
Don't worry, I bet everyone will know a lot about what to do, and the travel agency here in DK will probably have loads of info as well. the worst part of it is trying to get everything organized at work, so much to do...
Scandinavia isn't that bad right now, we've had some wonderful days recently, so we almost dare hope that spring has finally arrived!!
I briefly visited Coco Beach in January 2005. The huts are much the same as in Thailand. The beach itself didn't have much going for it. I stayed at small La Laguna Beach ... in between Sabang & Big La Laguna beaches. Seems to be great diving with all the sunken ships from WWII.
I also stayed at White Beach. The sand is not white, but you could at least swim in the beach. Lots of foreign men with gorgeous Filipina girlfriends staying at White Beach. The nightlife is a bit unusual with kiosk bars staffed by ladyboys.
