A bit of a last minute decision today - booked a 3 month trip leaving in 12 days time. We fly from London > Hong Kong > Sydney > Singapore then overland to Bangkok where we fly back to London from.
What I need is help! I've never travelled like this before and have no idea about most of it.
Any advice on how long to stay in each place? We were thinking a week or so in HK, a couple of months in Australia, leaving another month to travel from Singapore to Bangkok after that. Good idea, or not?
What would be a good route to take in Australia? Where do I need to go/how do I get there/how long do I stay there?
I'm a bit nervous about the whole 'overland' part. How do I get from Singapore to Bangkok? I read it's easy and cheap to get the train - good idea or not? Where do I stop on the way up there?
My budget is very limited but I want to see and do as much as possible. Sorry for bombarding you with questions but as you've seen, I really do need as much advice as possible.
