Hello travellers!

I was wondering if anyone had travelled overland from Bali to Singapore or know anywhere I can get a bit more info from!

Thanks!
Tom.

Bali & Singapore are actually in Asia rather than Australia / New Zealand & The Pacific.

Nevertheless ... You can catch a local bus from Jakarta on the island of Java over to Sumatra, the next Indonesian island to the west. The bus goes on a ferry across the strait. You don't get off.

You can travel overland through Sumatra up to Medan. If I remember correctly; from Medan, there is a boat to the port Malacca in Malaysia. There are regular buses from Malacca to Singapore

Thanks a lot for that Wocca! Now I have an idea of route will get on with some more investigation.

I figure it will be a lot more of an adventure than flying to Singapore from Bali!

Youcan go overland from Bali to Java, passing by Mt Bromo & Borobudhur. It's a long bus ride though
