My Dad is just after an operation, so I was EXTRA nice to him yesterday. I bought him a really funky pair of sunglasses for his holidays and a shirt. But wait for this!
I bought him a book written by an Irish singer called Mick Hanly. It turns out he was in my Dad's class at school....and there's a picture of my dad in the book!!!
LOL! Isnt that mad?
Everyone gets 15 minutes of fame... But, your Dad will be infamous forever! I think you should get him to autograph the book! (Even though it is HIS copy...)
And Tway - parents will be parents - trust me! You will never be older than about 15 in their eyes. They will always have the last say on how they think you should behave, clean, dress, act, you name it!! I was 40 when my dad passed away and not 1 week before that, he was telling me to GROW UP! I decided to ignore him one last time.
