I am leaving in just under a month on my month's interrailing trip and have got my backpack, but I just had a panic attack thinking that it is probably too small. It's 19x13x6".. Am I right worrying or am I just being my usual nervous self?

Hmmm, that doesn't say too much to me... how many liters is it? Generally, I think 55-65 liters is recommended for women (no offense, it's not badly intended) and about 10 ltr more for guys. This is kind of the average, of course there are also people running around with backpacks ten liters lighter or heavier (groan...., must log iron with me on my trip :) )

My backpack doesn't say how many litres it is. How can I tell without filling it with water?

LOL, no, you'll have to fill it with water ! :)

Uhm, do you have the papers that came with it when you bought it? Or maybe it's on a label on the pack somewhere small? Otherwise a good store would probably be able to give you an estimate or you could get an idea from comparing it to other packs there yourself as well I'd say...

Hmmm, I think that would be kind of small. Have you tried packing it for a 'test run'?
