After months of saving and quiting work for what should of been 4 months in Thailand,I have had to return back home from suffering imense abdominal pain, weight loss and dizzynes.
My venture was a complete flop and I am now just recovering from what was a reaction to the thail food.
The reason I'm really going on about is that i'm still not giving up all hope with travelling and would welcome advise and ideas on where else I could go, mainly europe, france, spain holland etc
Anyone who has been around Europe I would appreciate, ideas, places to go, what to do and how much money involed,
Hello Steve...Hope your feeling better!
Have you posted this question in the Europe Forum? You might get more responses there. So sorry that your trip wasn't all you hoped for, but don't give up!!! (and get well soon!)
You thread has been moved here, to the Europe forum, for the reason Cupcake stated. I agree, you will more than likely get better replies in this forum than from being in General Talk.
Glad to hear that you haven't given up your plans for more travel because of a bad experience. Hope you are feeling better soon and then off to some exciting destinations!
Hi Steve, it sounds like it hasn't been easy, hope you are feeling better.
As for your question, I've travelled in Spain, France and visited Amsterdam. It's defenitly much more excpencieve then what you have experienced in Thailand. Budget Accomodation is around 10-15 euro, but camping is an option, food will cost about the same per day and ofcourse, transport. All in all, it sounds better then nothing. but if money is an issue, you can cosider going to eastern europe, where euro doesn't exist and food is safe.
Have lot's of fun!
thanks your reply,
i've decided to go with hostels around spain, travel along the Andalusia, and I'm very suprised with just how many hostels spain has, If you know any must see places, fiestas, beeches would be welcome..thanks
In Poland there are some interesting places. For example Cracow (Kraków - beauty old town), Auschwitz (near Cracow), Zakopane (Tatra mountains), Gdansk, Poznan and Gniezno (old church). But i advice you to travel by train. -snip-
