Hi Ned

I'll be heading north from Sydney up to the Gold Coast.

Peter, one of the administrators, is the only TPer I know of that's down your way. Last I heard he was away on holidays.

You may care to check this Down Under theme site

Cheers

Quoting Wocca

Hi Fiona,

Firstly, we need a sticky stuck on this thread by TP.

I've been chatting with James. He lives in the old Dragons territory. I've got a brother up past the Sea Eagles.

Somewhere central would be good. James mentioned that he hasn't been to Oxford Street for a while. He wouldn't mind catching up with some of his past.

Let me know which part of town suits you, Fiona

Ciao
Wocca

Wocca, I actually don't recall mentioning Oxford Street to you or anyone else. As it's a predominately "gay" area it's not my first choice of location, but if you insist...

Sydney must have really changed since I was last there. The army's Victoria Barracks used be in on Oxford Street.

No, it's been a gay area for years. I remember driving through there years ago and I saw a guy wearing leather pants with a clear plastic part at the back so you could see his bum!

The army barracks are further up Oxford Street towards Paddington, but I don't have any army friends, so there's another reason for me to not want to go to Oxford Street.

How about Darling Harbour?

LOL

It must be awhile since you've been to Sydney then Wocca, I thought you were just taking the piss out of James..

I don't know what James was thinking. Now he's talking about Darling Harbour .... perhaps he's the one taking the piss

Darling Harbour was named as such in 1826, under went a major development about 20 years ago and is now one of Sydney's premier entertainment districts.

Anyway, that's my suggestion. Wocca, if you prefer Oxford Street that's okay by me. Just don't expect me to be wearing any leather pants or army outfits

Just how long has it been since you were in Sydney Wocca?
