Quoting tway

Thank you, G!!!!!!!!!!

Picked up the package today--yayyyy!!!! Tons of new CDs to listen to. Right now, I have Mr. Buckwheat Zydeco doing his thing on my CD player. Well, you know what I mean. Lovely!!!! Next up is Lucinda Williams--I'll let you know how she goes. :)

Oh, and the Wanted section of the local Middle of Nowhere paper was very interesting. The ad right in the middle said "Wanted--Long-haul drivers to deliver reefers". Must be some reefers!

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you'll like 2 of the CDs. If you don't like Williams, make a windchime with them and annoy your neighbors!

We roll them big here in Freedomland! That's why we're #1 in the world for marijauna and cocaine use. (We even beat out the Netherlanders.)

I know someone's going to ask... "Reefer" is (also) shorthand for refrigerated semi-trailers.

Quoting Wonkerer

Btw, would love to get in on all of this postcard craziness I can't keep track of who is sending and receiving SO, if you PM your address, I'll send you mine back and then we can both have something to look for in the post I love getting real mail, i.e. something that is delivered by Tom the postman and is neither a bill or someone wanting me to sign up for a credit card, that's just no beuno.

Isadora,
Being 'persona au gratin' (it's actually a movie which sounds very watchable!!!), could you possibly contact wonkerer and ask her if she would like a postcard from Venice or Croatia or Athens in September.
I'll be there very late August/September for a coupla weeks.
Thanks

Anthony

where is the sea gull who got the order to fly to Bonaire and put it in my mailbox???
till today no TP mail
Did somebody checked lately the rigging of the pirate boat?
Maybe she is sitting there, waiting till somebody is calling : lift the anker, hoist the sails
there is a party coming up in Bonaire, starts Friday around midnight, again Saturday evening ending in the Sunday wee hours..........
plenty of beer and rum,,,,,,,,,,,good music at Lees Bar
Hurry up,hurry up!!

Hey Marlis!

Did the post card arrive or not? If not, don't know what happened to that lake gull - other than he thought he could take on a shark or something...

Purdy can attest to the fact that the card was sent with the rest, in plain white envelope and first class postage. Should be there soon. Have a stern talk with the gull when he arrives - not good letting someone wait for a post card while they hunt down sharks.

good morning Isa,
it is Saturday,04.45am no sea gull,no pirate ship......

just came home from the party my friends gave for me,cake, proseco, polar beer, the rest I dont know......
Lee(the owner of the bar)played my favorit songs and videos,
Joe Cocker, and yes I left my hat on,with the little help of my friends, the where so beautyful and unchained my heart up where we belong.......
even the Beatles had a song for me.............when I'm 64......

so I still wait for the pirate ship and the lazy gull, the party starts again tonight till midnight(minimum)

Thank You Anthony!!!!!!!!!!!!

The post card from Perth has arrived!!!! The skyline reminds me a bit of Chicago's as you drive into the city, just a bit more spread out. I also now know what kangaroo paw looks like too! (It's listed in the Aussie (brand) shampoo ingredients list. Just been too lazy to look it up myself. ) As for the Muse CD & DVD - excellent stuff!!! They definitely know how to put on a show - and where can I find some green pants, like the drummer's, for Beerman? (They'll go well with his green speedos - heeheehee!) Neither will be chucked over the border into Hoosierland! Thank you again for great music! ;)

Thank You Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The post card from Stockholm has also arrived!!!!!! The shot of the harbor is lovely! If the card was delayed, it was only because you were searching for the perfect fish stamp. As for the "beatiful" package from the meet-up... We aimed to please!! Never go drinking with this group and then decide it's the perfect time to write on the backs of pretty pictures. Also, never stuff the envelopes after 2 bottles of wine as all control will have completely left the building by then.
Thanks again, Sam!!

Woo Hoo
Postcard of Chicago arrived today and very welcome. It's gonna get pinned beside the calendar on my office partition.
Glad you enjoy Muse. Best live band around, and as for the green pants for Beerman, spraypaint his legs and let the summer insects do the rest
The pleasure is all mine as uz ozzies have the hard task of edumacating Americains in the finer points of life
I would have been in C for the the TP alkie blinder but I must keep working so my wife can enjoy her 4 month RTW trips.
