Oooh, I think I'm on the list, but I'm not completely sure... Isa? I would also be happy to send out some post cards to others, though I can't say they'd be from all that exotic of locals... I can't even rightly claim "the middle of nowhere" However, I should say that I've never participated in one of the crazy types that you guys have done in the past.

I think there was a glitch yesterday... I replied to Katie's (this) post, previewed and submitted. I swear the reply was added to the thread though it's now missing. I stated I had looked at all of my versions of the original list and you were not on them. But, as you know, that's been rectified.

Anyway, with luck, we'll be in New Orleans and then a few locations in Florida the beginning of June. We're looking at taking the City of New Orleans train to Louisiana which should be fun. I wonder if they have post cards on the train...

Okay, I haven't done a lot of traveling lately, and have not gotten postcards when I have, so... I decided to send postcards of home. Yay Iowa (Iowa being vastly different from Isa and Beerman's Illinois.) A friend of mine has some fun photos of "home" so I have made those into postcards, with his permission of course. I'll send out a few tomorrow, and then I need to get more stamps. Danged postage ;)

So, we leave in 5 days for awesome adventures. (Okay, we're hoping they will be awesome - the train is still off the tracks but can get us to Louisiana, just not New Orleans yet. Amtrak is using buses to get passengers the last leg of the trip which takes about 2 hours. Last report today is they will be fully functional by tomorrow. We do have a back-up plan.)

I have my post card list all printed out and stopping for stamps on the way to the beermine to collect beerman. Sorry, I forgot to pick them up earlier today. Paying my property taxes over-shadowed my memory of stamps even though they were on the list. Bad Isa!!!

We'll send some from the proverbial road and Katie gave me a great idea for a couple once we return. (Don't mean to steal your idea, K! And, I need to scan our 2 from you and get them in my gallery. They are very, very cool!)

If things work out well enough, there may be a surprise (known) signature on the first set and then some from random people of unknown origin as we venture forth. Well, we know them and their origin but that can't be trusted.
