Isa: "Mr. Mailbox?"
MB: "Yup!"

THANK YOU NIKKI, ARJAN AND JOZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first is from Nikki & Arjan, and it is a panoramic picture of a pub in Dingle, with musicians out on the sidewalk playing music.

Were you able to visit this particular pub for a Guinness and/or Baileys? ;)

The next three are from CC - one of a tornado out on the prairie of Oklahoma, one of the Organ Mountains/Mesilla Valley in New Mexico, and the third is the Arizona desert with a blanket of snow!!! (Though rare, it does snow occasionally in Arizona.)

1) A swarm of wasps is one thing - a tornado is another - both are really, really unpleassant!

2) Yea, though you drove through the Mesilla Valley of New Mexico... You shall fear no evil... ;)

3) Maybe you stopped too soon and are really on Mount Lemmon - hence the snow... (ask eermanBay about Mt. Lemmon sometime...)

At least you got the stamps right for Illinois!!! ;)

Thanks Isa and Beerman!!! 3 from you! now stuck on my bedroom door. I particularly like the one of the fixer-upper - there's something ...familiar...about it. Did I mention I live out in the sticks as well....lol

And Tway, I love buildings and architecture of any kind, so I really like your postcard. I'll definitely be visiting MOntreal some time. ;) Also, now on my bedroom door.

Thanks guys!!

Beerman's family had a "cabin" on Mt. Lemmon when they lived in Arizona too. Though, I'm sure it wasn't a small one by any means... I've never been to Arizona, but I'm sure Beerman will know where Pine Top is located.

I seem to recall comments about not washing your car because of driving through all the cow patties on the way to work... I thought you would appreciate the "rustic" view of Illinois!

Misplaced Brown Swiss cows seemed appropriate for a misplaced Swiss accountant!!!!! ;)

[ Edit: Yup, fixed typos... ]

Woohoo, the irish mail system got their act together as I got three from Ireland in one go this past weekend!!! In the spirit of tradition, they are now up on my board and blog . I've also added a 'Postcards' category to the travel blogs area so these entries can be categorized as such...

Thanks pardus, samsara2 and raven!!!

I rather liked having our post card blog listed as "Armchair Travel"!!!! Please Mr. Sam - don't make me change it....

Isa checks her blog entries to see if they can be listed under both "Postcards" and "Armchair Travel".... Then she will be sitting out in the drizzle for a couple more hours, waiting for the postman to come again...

No worries at all isadora, how could I ever remove armchair travel!!!? :)
