Quoting FionaNZ

As with a couple from NZ, sent them over a week ago, I thought they might be there by now.... how far in the sticks did you say you were

Thanks F, Dave, Raven....much appreciated. But don't blame your local post people (unless you want to...), more than likely the American Pony Express broke down again. It's awfully hard for them to swim across large expanses of water......

F....we are WAY out in the sticks....at least that's what everyone tells us. It's only a two hour (at 110kph) drive to Chicago. It seems that most people think the drive OUT to us is MUCH longer than the drive IN. I'm still researching the scientific possibilities.....

Thanks all for letting us travel vicariously through you.

Your Queen

Isa: "Good afternoon Mr. Mailbox!"
MB: "Why, good afternoon to you Isa!"
Isa: "Mr. MB, have you anything good for me today?"
MB: "Yes, indeed I do! How about something from the West Coast of New Zealand? Will that do?"
Isa: Oh yes, Mr. Mailbox! That will be just splendid!"

THANK YOU FiNZ!!!!!'
We just received a wonderful post card from New Zealand with a beautiful picture of the West Coast of South Island on the front. Again, lots of writing on the back and I'm not tellin' what it says. But, yes FiNZ - we are well and happy - always!!! And, Rata honey sounds devine.

But, if you want a post card in return - PM an address to us!!!!

Thank you again!!!

reece, are you saying beer is taking priority over sending TP Mum a postcard? She won't be happy to hear...

Oh, Mr. Mailbox was very good again today!!!

Beerman wishes to thank Commander FiNZ for the wonderful post card covered in sheep! It has a great picture of ovine rush hour down the main street, past the Vulcan Hotel, in St. Bathans, Central Otago, NZ. Of course, more writing on the back!

Beerman says - no, he doesn't have that type of traffic but does encounter deer, rabbits, ground squirrels, pheasants, wild turkey and the occasional coyote on his way to the main highway.

Thanks again Fiona and still waiting for a return address!!!

[ Edit: Fixed the turkey and geography ]
