Thank you, Galina! Just got your postcard today. The photo is beautiful - and the Ukrainian alphabet always fascinates me. Can't make heads or tails of it! But I'll think of you every time I pass by the Ukranian bank on the way home from work. There's always a little sign in the window that I figure must say "Closed".

And BTW: I finally mailed out my batch of belated postcards - but dug into my purse afterwards and realized yours got left behind. Dang! It's coming ASAP!

It seems that finally I'll have my week-off and heading Egypt!
Anyone wants a postcard?

I DO!

It's great that you'll have a week off! I haven't taken my vacation this year and am still counting the days until next month...

BTW, Isa & CupCake: I haven't sent you the postcards, sorry. I'll do it ASAP.

Here's a question for you people. I don't do postcards, but I do take a lot of photos and have lots of 4"x6" prints. I think I should be able to slap a stamp on them and mail them, but does anyone know for sure ?

Yes, you can just slap a stamp on them and mail them. Though, most post offices require you put an address on them too (or they keep them for themselves)! But seriously, you can use photos as post cards. Beerman's brother-in-law is a freelance photographer and he has done that without problems.
