THANK YOU JUN, STEFF, DAVE AND EV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have received 4 more post cards!!! Jun's (Summer) is of the Kwan Im Temple in Singapore! Steff's os a picture of Flamenco dancers in Spain! Dave's is Siem Reap (Smiling in Bayon) in Cambodia and Ev's is of Bunratty Castle in Co. Clare, Ireland!!!

[i]Jun - Maybe we should make a visit to the temple so we can gain a fortune and be able to do more traveling!!!

I'm glad you like it! I was getting worried that it might have been lost in the post, since it was taking too long to reach you.

If you like, I'm going to Korea at the end of the month, and I can try to send you one from there. :)

WOW Jason! That is quite the project you have designed for your students!!! I hope you get (at least) the 75 countries and all the 50 states represented!! Do you mind if we send some "just for fun" ones too??? I have one from the Cave of the Mounds in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin that the kids may find interesting. It's a mineral formation called "Polly the Parrot".

Enjoy Egypt too!!! ;)

Steff - The costumes are gorgeous, but the people (themselves) look rather like exhibits in a wax museum!

You´re very welcome, Isa! And you´re right the clothes are lovely, but the dancers look like they are tourists posing for a picture ;)

Ev, thanks a mil for your sweet card for my birthday (some close friends forgot, you didn´t!). I put it up on the wall and it goes really well with other pictures in the new room .

THANK YOU ALISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got another card this afternoon - from Alison in Waikiki, Hawaii. It has a great pic of Diamond Head on the front!!

Ali - always pack an empty carry-on for all those goodies you didn't think you were going to buy, find or scavenge!!! I usually pack away two - one for goodies and one for shells. The hell with my clothes!!

Hey folks~
Today we got Seoul, Edmonton, Bath (UK), Memphis (from Graceland) and one from Kiev! Today I had the kids pick a cool stamp from one of our cards and make a recreation of it. THey'll be displayed prominently in our class. The stamps from the Ukraine are very cool! Love that Cyrillic!
Isadora~ Fun ones would be just awesome!!! Kids love funky cool stuff (as do I)!

Hi Jason, I have sent a postcard from my town. I think want you are doing is fantastic. When I was in grade 6 (age 10-11) I had a teacher that had done quite a bit of travelling. He had the most fantastic stories of the adventures he had - everyone loved them. I have always wanted to travel and he definetly added to my dreams as a kid to see the world. So I think your teaching will 'ignite a fire in their hearts and create a passion for their world!' I hope everything goes well with your travels to Egypt (my teacher's stories of Egypt were actually my favourite).

So I guess you will see a postcard from my area shortly.
