... Hien we had yet to recieve yours but got another one from a nice lady near you! ... Hien~ It's funny I was just telling my kids about the Towers the other day and lo and behold a real pic of em! Perfect timing!!! ...

Hopefully my card doesn't get lost in the post.

But no worries, another one is on it's way there, so you'll have more things to tell your kids about Malaysia.

... Did everyone feed the mule before sending him on to his next delivery??

What? We have to send him on?

Okay, I'll let him go tomorrow, it's dark out there now.

By my calculations - the donkey better be on his way in about 3 hours or so. Please feed him beforehand - it's quite a swim depending on where he decides to stop next... ;)

Isadora~ Thank you for the great postcards! Though I admit, the kids and I all thought the postcard from the Cave of the Mounds was, at first, a slimy! We look forward to hearing from you on your trip to Panama (I'm jealous!)

Glad to hear the donkey made it to California quickly! I will send along the info about Panama soon. (It's been a busy week...) I know what you mean about Polly - but it really is a mineral formation - promise! The formation is also illuminescent (sp?). They turn off all the lights, set off a camera flash and Polly glows for about 2 seconds. Polly is also located in the depths of the cave. When the lights are turned off, no light penetrates that deep so your eyes do not adjust as they would in a dark room. The real definition of "pitch black".

Did your student who has family in Wisconsin enjoy the card?

Thanks Zags, I am going to send another post card to you.

Thanks, I'm waiting! :)

Dave, I received the 2nd postcard which you said you'd sent as backup - glad you did! because I didn't receive the 1st one. Thanks again!

Jason, I've been reading your posts but haven't got the chance to reply to you. Have you got any postcard from Indonesia? Would you like one as a start? :)

Joz (CupCake), have you got the postcard I sent you with a picture of 'koteka'? I'm sending you another one of the men wearing them, so you'll get a better picture of the thing.

Zags, thanks a lot for your postcard and I wasn´t aware you´ve got floating markets in Indonesia. How cool ist that. Do people then buy the food of the shore or are they also on boats?

Got a package today from Istanbul. An American teacher there for the year sent us several boxes of Turkish Delight, a Turkish Folk Song CD and one of those cool glass charms that ward one from the Evil Eye! How cool is that?! And she sent a nice stack of postcards! I brought in my Turkey pics to even dazzle the kids further. Quite a day!
Isadora~ Jacob loved the card from Wisconsin! Thank you! YOu made his day. He's chosen to do his Postcard Report on your card. :)
Zags~ We've yet to recieve one from Indonesia and woulod simply love one! Cheers!
Thanks again all. This is just so neat! I've talked to my principal and will be taking over a school bulletin board in the office for the remainder of the year. So some of your postcards may be displayed for all to see! Did I mention that at the end of the year, I'll be raffling off your postcards to the kids. They'll be great keepsakes for them and hopefully inspire them well into life!

Thanks for the mustard-wielding strongman, Beerman and Isa, must try to eat more, maybe then I'll grow some muscles! Isa, the extra suitcase came in handy for all the booty I brought home! And it's a foldable one to take with me next trip.

Your card from Fort Lauderdale arrived on Saturday!!!! It shows the beautiful coastline of Ft.L!!!!!

Is that you on your boat heading out through the causeway??? Wait, I think that's a cruiseship... We do think we see the Bahama Hotel though. They have a great breakfast, if you don't mind hearing the same Cher song over and over and over and.... Looking forward to January!!!
