This is great it's like a two fingers up to the electronic generation!! sod the message board send us a postcard!

I always thought letters/pc were better and way nicer to recieve than e-mails...

although....I am totally crap at sending them, I buy the card, write it and it sits in my bag for weeks,. I think I carried about four seperate ones and 3 letters round Brazil for my folks

So if anyone recieves any from me count yourself special ;)

So glad that Fred enjoyed his first piece of mail!!!! Since his travels probably only consist of the Vet and back, it seemed only fitting he get a treat for being as good cat!

He was as proud as punch ! I have to post a pic soon, he has his own little corner with basket , toys, carpet etc,,, and now a postcard wall, he's totally spoiled ! ;)

Maybe Steff... We collect magnets from our travels too - but I think we need to travel more since most of the magnets are not travel-related! (And, the cats like to knock them off to use as toys. I'm sure I could find 5 or 6 hiding under the fridge if I used a flashlight. ) We do have 2 refrigerators - though one is in the basement and only the goblins go there.

Thanks for thinking this should be a sticky! I did too! ;)

Off I went to the Post office a couple of days ago and sent off 7-8, maybe 9 postcards...now I cant remember. I just realized that I sent all the ones I grab last year in Europe but not a single one from Florida!!! Shame on me!! I did look very hard for the ones I bought in Thailand and nothing...I came up empty. I will keep looking.

Isa/Beerman, you are getting the following postcards:

- Amsterdam
- Berlin (I sent 2, Steffbo beat me to the Brandenburg Gate)
- Venice
- Prague
- Vienna
- Knittlefeld (small small town in Austria where some of my family lives).
- Paris
- The Grand Canyon.

Hope you like them guys!

Hee hee.. I just called home and aparently I have a postcard waiting for me on the table! Hmm, hmmm, hmm... maybe it's from my grandmother...

Ironically, I just went to the Post Office at lunchtime (amazing how productive one can be when the chat room's broken...).

Yeah, your Granny, that's it!!!

You know, work can be so much MORE productive when you're writing.....a novel, for example.........Me? No, I just make beer for a living........and model for the occassional postcard.

Thanks Anne.....but we're definitely going to need a bigger refrigerator for seven more cards.......mind you, that cheapskate Steff simply refuses to buy us a bigger one......

Maybe I can talk Mrs. Beerman into s.c.a.n.n.i.n.g. the postcards and posting them somewhere.....sshhhhh, don't tell her. Let me do it. Trust me, you don't want the bones thrown on you. Some days it's all I can do just to keep her from cursing the whole world......prancing about the house, throwing bones, cackling maniacally, teasing cats..........
