Oh - I almost forgot... shame on me! Thank you, Dave! I got your postcard from the Philippines when I came back from vacation. Sounds like you're having a great time! Do share all the WWII sights you've seen when you get a chance to post.

THANK YOU ZINDY, RICH (Gelli) AND LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We received a joint post card from Zindy and Rich from Japan!! It has several beautiful pictures of temples and (of course) Mount Fuji on the front. We also got one from Lee which features the Batu Caves, Theon Hou Temple and Masjid Jame.

Zindy & Rich: Congratulations on your mini meet-up!!! We hope the two of you had a good time together. Zindy's smiley faces on the back suggest you did! Rich, we know you are not a fake - but we're not really sure you are you either.... Beerman says he's working on that keg - but you didn't specify if you wanted it empty or full!

Lee: - The stairs to the Batu Caves looks like a 3 hour climb!!!! But, I'm sure they are beautiful!!! I agree - the card designer definitely wanted "outsiders" (those getting the post card) to see the multi-cultural aspects of Malaysia. (Maybe we will win one of the trips and be able to see for ourselves!!

Thank you JunLei [summer910] for your card from Jeju, Korea.

One funny thing about the card though... there's a stamp mark on the card that says "MISSENT TO JAKARTA INDONESIA".

Stupid mail sorter at the Korea postal service.
Luckily the postal service in Indonesia redirected the mail to Malaysia.

Make sure you reserve at least 3 hours for the climb.

ARRGH!!! I was going to send that one!!!
Now I have to find another one to send.

The previous postcards sent by both of us are likely to be from the same printing company tho...about the Malacca's...My postcards bought in Sabah & Sarawak are no more! How to get some cards which are 'niche' and 'true'?

I have the same dilemma, Lee!!!! All the cards around me are quite identical - nothing new. :(
But... I am working on a different approach... Mwahahahahahahahahaaa ha ha!!!

Also, I have only gotten 3 replies about the master list - and Mr. Gelli is still very much in need of a list. So, anyone else - besides Phil, Lee and Nikki - willing??? Please send me a PM if you want to be included! Thanks! ;)

There's a list? Am I on it? Put me on it! I've cleared off my fridge door (every time I opened it, some card or other would slip off and slide under the stove), so I'm ready to start anew.

I think probably Isa is the initiator of this postcard-sending activity. Wow, is just great to have postcard from all over the world. I do love to collect postcard. I used to collect them and stick them on the wall or cupboard. Kind of decorations(save money from painting them, haha, and use the money for travelling?? ;)).

One day when you are back from work and there is one postcard lying on the table for you... Warmth huh
