... but he told me three things that i had no control over and were far from general, two have already happened...

I'm guessing one of them is getting to know me?

I have to admit...I went to one probably 10 yrs ago. When she saw me, she told me where my dad was from (weird) and a couple of things that will happen at home with my parents, which they did. Everything else was pretty general...

I have to see to believe...but I do have an open mind about all this type of things.

yeah. my friend went a psychic and she has been having problems in the relationship department. so she was told that if she didnt marry within the year. every relationship will be doomed. for example the guy wouldnt treat her very well... abusive or something of the sort. so she was ubber stressed out and drank way too much that night.

I've been hassled by a few in Vietnam who don't seem to understand the word 'no'. A good way to get rid of them is to say "well, if you can see into the future, then you'd know already knowthat i'm not going to pay you". They soon move onto the next 'victim'.

I've never been to a fortune teller, but I do like reading up on horoscopes and the like. But I do take these "predictions" or "readings" with a pinch of salt. They can be "spot on" sometimes, but in a really vague way that doesn't help much.

We encountered a few of those in Spain, too - pushy, sneaky things who just about trick you into a "reading" and out of your money. After awhile, we just ignored them altogether - cause even a "no" was somehow turned into a fight to get paid fror something we clearly didn't want.

Nikki? That's not the guy in Parliament St. is it? A friend of mine went to some guy there and was FREAKED by the amount of accurate things he told him. Another girl I used to live with went to a White Witch in Co. Cork. She went a skeptic and came back a believer...

I wont go to a psychic for four reasons:

1) I dont need to be told about things that I know already happened
2) I dont want to be told about my future and then spend the present waiting for something to happen or looking for signs or willing events to take place.
3) I think it's a total waste of money.
4) I'm a little bit afraid of them. I'm not sure that it is all cock&bull......

A fortune teller said i would be lucky with money around about now. Well, the company i work for underpaid me by about 400 quid last month, and i checked my bank statement on the net yesterday and i've been underpaid by about 1700 quid this month. Way to go fortune teller, i'm about 2100 quid worse off!!!!!!!!!!!!! and stuck in Asia where it's difficult to find out what's going on!!!!!
