Hi Sam,

I would never use anything that Google buys as a blog base. I've been doing some research into that, and I almost started up with Blogger. Hmm, scarey .. Sort of like geocities with the annoying expandable advertisements. There are others, too, but they are more like journals, like livejournal, deadjournal, a whole realm of similar ones, that all piggyback off of the script . There's wib-blog,too. A bunch that start with "Blog-" . .... The list does go on and on! lol

Are you just looking to compare them? :S

Have you ever heard of salon.com with the iraq info, anyway?

peace,

Steph

Interesting comments, Steph ...

I'm just testing Blogger.com at the moment ... I'll keep an eye on the expandable advertisements that you just mentioned

I've got my own blog (check my profile for the link) - handy to have the knowledge to build my own... If anyone wants help with that sort of stuff then I'm more than happy to assist! You'd be suprised at how easy it is if you can be bothered. But then again there are free tools out there that are very simple to use and great if you don't know what you are doing.

One my site I've got a page dedicated to blogging whilst travelling. The page was inspired by some comments from areinstein (Anne here at TP!). You can find that through my site too. I don't like repeating myself too much so if you are keen for a read then check it out at your leisure.

Blogging has definately become a phenomenon. Wonder how long it will last.

Hi soapsuds

I've checked your website, and like what you've done. However, it's way beyond my ability at the moment.

I'll plod along experimenting for now. My social life has been distracting me a little bit of late.

Cheers
Wocca
