Canada Day is tomorrow, actually. We all get a nice national holiday, and depending on what province you live in, you either a) celebrate your country with a barbeque, some alcohol, a few fireworks and a parade or else b)rent a moving van and change apartment.

Well for me Canada Day is just another day, perhaps I am a touch jaded towards nationalism though. ;)

You should move to Quebec then, B! You won't hear a peep mentioned about it here... ;)

We celebrate our National Day 31st August every year- parade and fireworks in every state! One of our minister suggested public gatherings and even cinemas should start with national anthem before before events commence...

And in addition, carnivor-sales festival! (Although I am not keen on fighting with other people buying cheap things on that day)

Normally would celebrate my friends' birthday (I have 5 friends with the same day ceebrating birthday eventhough I celebrate mine 1 day after that)
