Quoting -reece-

There was a huge group as chinese tourists who were in front of us and they were all pushing to get in the lift,it was stupidity and they stopped people from getting on till they had all calmed down.We were told we would be up in 30 minutes but because of all this it took 2 hours and we missed the sunset because of it which was bloody annoying.

Hmmm, why am I not surprised that it was the Chinese who lacked in queuing etiquette?! I don't think some of them (or "us", since I'm Chinese) have ever heard of the practice of lining up in an orderly fashion. Anyway, if you think you CN tower incidence is annoying, you should probably avoid any form of public transport if you're ever in China.

Im still having a wicked time and have just conquered my fear for heights by going up the CN Tower. It was pretty impressive.

Hey Reece, well done on the heights thing, I too have a pathological fear of them, but managed to get myself up a few scary places.. so way to go, onwards & upwards

At the risk of sounding terribly naive, is this why the Chinese seem to have a different sense of personal space? I can be staning on a just-about-empty Metro platform here, and a family of Chinese tourists will inevitably come and stand half a foot from where I am. I can literally reach out and tweak them in the nose, they're so close (mind, I have a thing about personal space). I've always wondered if, coming from a country with so many people living in close proximity, the Chinese have a very, very different sense of personal space than we do here...?

I was well up for doing the stairs and would of if they would of let me.
Isa we are in Niagara Falls at the moment and leave for Ottawa in the morning. We watched the fireworks last night and they put on a great show.Maybe the postcard got lost or maybe i forgot

Tina no im not bored yet although the best parts are certainly the west and east areas and nothing much between calgary and toronto.

Greg the weather has been fantastic most of the time and i cant complain.Although we woke up to snow in lake louise and had tsunami warnings in vancouver and floods in calgary.

Thanks everyone else as well and i hope your all ok
